Your car and safety features in your car.

What car do you drive? Are you aware of the safety features in your car? While buying car did you ask about mileage, its power, performance only or you asked about safety features in the car also.

Lots of the car owners buy their car which give more mileage however some of the owners they want high performance car as well.

The manufacturing company has invested lots of money and time in safety features of the car. To be more safe you should be more aware of the safety features in your car. Lets discuss few of them which are in my head now.

The most oldest and most efficient one is seat belts. For more safe, everybody in the car should use seat belts as the impact would be same for all in the car. Some of the countries like India, Nepal , Srilanka the use of seat belts is very rare however in GCC countries the law is strict an every passengers in the front seat must wear seat belts.

Airbags & side impact airbags, some of the vehicles air bags are provided only for the front passengers however in other cars like GMC savana airbags for every passengers.

Crumple zone, a vehicle parts mostly to the extreme front and extreme rear which can deform easily in case of accidents and this part absorb the main impact.

some other safety features are: day time running lights, auto reversing or auto parking , adaptive cruise control, traction control, ESC, ABS and many more.

Though you have all the safety features in your car and if you go faster and in case of accident that safety features mean nothing.  if you have any comments, please write in comment field.

POSITION YOURSELF IN DIAGONAL

When there is two or more lanes, do not drive parallel or side by side to other vehicles. Position yourself in diagonal position to other vehicles around you, when you are travelling in multi-lane system in similar speed. If you are driving side by side, you could be in blind spots to other drivers and may lead to accidents. This is very important while negotiating roundabouts and when there is heavy vehicles to your side. Do not overtake them while negotiating roundabouts, Be in diagonal pictures.

I have got some pictures of accidents because of driving side by side with heavy vehicles or trailer with containers.
